Where I come from, the sun shine very brightly
The Sea filled with white sand and heavy strong wave
See lot’s people come surfing and beautiful brown tanning skin
Where I come from, the mountain air really fresh and clean
The birds singing echoing each other among thousand of trees
Might feel you come a neverland and never want to go back
Where I come from, the city offers lights the village offers peaceful
The road filled with people talk each other without knowing each other
People will talk with warm heart and open hands
Children with mixed face were welcome without any prejudice
Where I come from, religion, background, none need to debate
It’s fake media and noisy busy body whose making it worst
They try to bring Us down for what we have and believe, well they can try
Where I come from, island of heaven make the person what I am today
I don’t bother the differences when that’s all can united Us among
We put aside the differences for one more stronger call “love”
Where I come from, inherited hundreds of language of ethnics
Envy, jealousy to other country not needed, as we got what we need
Yes I imprint this to the bottom of my heart and head
I am a person with color, yes I am
Where we all come from, might be different
Still we united to one, the universe, we all person with color
I share my island of heaven to you, would you do that to others?
Creativity is within us all

The last line asks a compelling question. The world today is fuming with intolerance.
Your poem reminds me of my village that I miss so bad. Thank you for the trip down memory lane… 🙂
Your welcome Tatsat, intolerance indeed the world we lived in, still if there’s one compassion for love, nothing can bring Us down.
